Product Development & Management

Product development methodologies Product design : UI design, UX Opportunity analysis – identifying the need Requirements engineering – building the right thing; Planning realeases – customer expectations vs. sales promise vs. engineering

The (local) industry is looking to shifting the business model from service-based to product-based, in an attempt to increase both company and individual productivity, while also encouraging innovation. The transition however has its challenges: identifying customer needs and translating them into requrements vs. working on exact specifcations, interaction models and processes with customers and integrating their feedback, ressources (re)allocation, different balance and metrics in design vs. functionalities evaluation etc. Presentations in this track should include good practices and case studies to help individuals and teams better integrate new processes into their workflows.
